The Newberry Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for using a stolen credit card.

The report said on Sept. 30, an unknown suspect broke into a vehicle while it was parked at Newberry High School. 

Police say the suspect stole the victim’s purse and proceeded to use the victim’s credit cards at various locations in and around the Harbison Boulevard area of Columbia, SC. 

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25 and 45 and he has a high forehead/receding hair line, the report stated.
