NEWBERRY, SC (WIS)- A man wanted for several violent robberies in Augusta, Georgia, has been arrested in Newberry.
The Newberry County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Robbey Eugene Moses of Augusta was arrested Friday night at a home on Holloway Street in Newberry. Although Moses was described as extremely dangerous by law enforcement, he was taken into custody without incident.
Moses was wanted on two counts of robbery by force and aggravated assault for incidents that occurred at the Riverfront Park in Augusta.
Officers from the Newberry County Sheriff's Office, Newberry Police Department, and the State Law Enforcement Division were acting on information they received from investigators in Georgia.
Officers also arrested Dominque Shantaee Hale of Augusta, who is accused of assisting Moses with several of the robberies.
Moses and Hale were taken to the Newberry County Detention Center. Investigators from Augusta traveled to Newberry Saturday to begin the extradition process and take Moses and Hale back to Georgia.
