Deputies release sketch of suspect wanted for questioning in burglaries | Crime
The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted for questioning in the Bush River area burglaries.
The report said on Oct. 19, the Sheriff's Office requested the assistance of the public as they sought two black males in a white vehicle that was spotted acting suspicious in areas that later reported burglaries.
While it is unclear at this point whether the vehicle is a car or SUV, investigators describe the men as black males between 20 and 30 years old. One of the suspects has dark complexion and is of a heavy build with short hair. No further description is available on the second suspect.
Deputies say there have been five burglaries in the area of Old Whitmire Highway and the Bush River community.
While there have been no additional burglaries, investigators are still searching for the suspect(s) responsible for the burglaries.
“We are making every effort to locate these suspects,” said Sheriff Foster. “We are asking the community to join forces with us to help locate these suspects and stop those who would violate the homes of our citizens.”
Anyone who might see this vehicle or have information on who these suspects might be should contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
