Newberry Fire Department Charity Golf Tournament set for April 27 | Community Spirit
Mark your calendars for the annual City of Newberry Fire Department Charity Golf Tournament.
This charity tournament will be played at the challenging Newberry Country Club.
The NFD Golf Tournament will be held on April 27th at the Country Club of Newberry. Registration begins at 8 AM with a shotgun start at 9. The cost for a four-man team is $260. Early registration is encouraged, as spaces are limited to the first 25 teams that register.
Most importantly, all proceeds benefit a great cause, well two. The main beneficiary is the MUSC Burned Children's Fund. A portion of the proceeds will be retained by the Newberry Fire Department to support the Kid's Fishing Rodeo/Kid' Fun Day. There will be door prizes, lunch provided, a hole-in-one car, and also a Par 3 Challenge sponsored by Dixon Golf. A fun day is promised for all who attend, which is the icing on the cake for supporting the children of the community.
Call the Newberry Fire Department at 803-321-1030 for more event details.
