Wells Fargo Stagecoach Arrives to Announce Border to Border Hunger Challenge

On Tuesday, May 22 the South Carolina Food Bank Association (SCFBA) will hold a press event at 10:30 am to announce the Border to Border Hunger Challenge sponsored by Wells Fargo. The event at 10:30 am at 2220 Shop Road in Columbia will announce the $150,000 campaign to reduce childhood and family hunger across our entire state during the summer.

Teen arrested in 2009 cab driver shooting

NEWBERRY COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A Newberry teenager has been arrested and charged in the 2009 shooting of a cab driver.

James Ojore Tribble, 19, was charged on April 20 with attempted murder and armed robbery after the victim identified him in a photo lineup.

A Newberry County deputy found Mace Gallman suffering from gunshots in a ditch near Belfast Rd. and Belmont Church Rd. on July 27, 2009.

The American Red Cross South Carolina Blood Services Region will recognize Florence and Columbia area platelet donors at a platelet donor appreciation breakfast 9:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium, 1127 George Rogers Blvd., Columbia.

 

The event is an opportunity for the Red Cross to honor area platelet donors and award donors who have reached significant donation milestones.
